Role:
In this role, you will be an integral part of finance operations which is responsible for executing the day-to-day operations (customer management, invoice booking, collection run)
The accounts receivable executive would be responsible for ensuring customers are billed as per contractual terms; that the correct amounts are collected in a timely manner, verifying and recording transactions, resolving account discrepancies, and performing other tasks to secure customer payments.
Responsibilities:
- Processing, verifying, and posting receipts for goods sold or services rendered.
- Researching and resolving account discrepancies.
- Processing and recording transactions.
- Maintaining records regarding payments and account statuses.
- Obtaining information from other departments to ensure records are accurate and complete and that accounts receivable ledgers and journals are up-to-date.
- Working with the collections department to review accounts, client payments, credit history, and develop new or better repayment terms.
- Performing administrative and clerical tasks, such as data entry, preparing invoices, sending bill reminders, filing paperwork, and contacting clients to discuss their accounts.
- Generating reports and statements for internal use.
Requirements:
- B.Com./M. Com with 7+ years experience in handling finance functions more specifically for accounts receivables
- Ability to learn quickly, think independently and develop new processes/analyses required.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time.
- Sound accounting skills.
- Interpersonal skills and the ability to work independently and with a team.
- Having worked in a startup environment (SaaS) would be preferred

- Adept in Zoho, Google Workspace
